Simple, proven rotary to linear actuation for raising or lowering large or special gates.

Hoisting Equipment (578k)
Rodney Hunt Company manufacturer's a wide variety of manual (geared) operators for gate actuation. These geared operators rotate an internal lift nut, which turns against the stem threads and raises and lowers the attached gate. These assemblies are engineered to suit your application they may be: crank or handwheel actuated or driven by a portable operator; high speed and low speed input shafts are available; gear reduction is provided for ease of gate actuation. A wide variety of Electric Motor Operators are also available for gate actuation. Hydraulic Systems (465k)
Hydraulic systems for gate and valve control are often the most cost-effective form of actuation. Systems can be designed for simple push-button operation, to sophisticated sensor-controlled positioning. Ideal for multiple gate/valve actuation. Emergency gate or valve closing/opening are easily configured. See also SCUBA®.

S.C.U.B.A.® (355k)
SCUBA – Self-contained Universal Bi-directional Actuators – have gained wide acceptance in Combined Sewer Overflow applications, modulating service, corrosive applications, submersible locations, and hazardous environments. All actuator components are installed on a common base. A very unique product that fits an important actuation need.
